Receiving Requirements
and Coil Specifications
All freight going to Amerimet must be shipped in compliance with the receiving requirements and coil specifications detailed below:
Receiving Requirements
- All shipments to Amerimet require a delivery appointment.
- Both flatbed trailers and enclosed dry vans are acceptable.
- Amerimet has the capability to load or unload from the side at ground level or from the rear at dock level.
- The maximum skid weight that we can unload is 15,000 lbs.
Standard Mill Coil Specifications
- Inside Diameter: 20″ with fiber core
- Max. Outside Diameter: 66″
- Max. Coil Weight: 10,000 lbs.
- Max. Skid Weight: 10,000 lbs.
- Ship all coils eye to the sky.
Receiving Hours
Monday to Friday 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Eastern Time.
An appointment is required for all deliveries. You can e-mail your request by providing the information below and clicking on Submit. Appointments can also be made by calling Amerimet at (305) 884-7734.
Delivery Appointment Request
In order to expedite the delivery of your shipment, Amerimet requires an appointment be made at least 48 hours in advance. If there is a problem or conflict, a company representative will contact you immediately.
